Bekir Ormancı believes that the most effective way of learning about communities is by observing them in their own environment.

With this in mind, he adventured and photographed many districts even down to small villages in Turkey.

He then took interest in other countries and travelled to shoot photos around the world.

When these photos are closely analyzed, it would be obvious that ‘’human’’ is the reoccuring main focus in his art.

People at work seems to be a theme which is quite often visited, as well asphotos where human interactions are at the prime importance.

Another aspect of his photos is that, the concept of environment is reflected in a way that adds richness to  the main focus of human relations.

A close-up look into Ormancı’s photos wil reveal their inner calm and life bonds people create with their surroundings.

 

He processes clear glass products with new designs and shapes, changes them into goods that are  exported to the international market.

 

It is never a secret that he enjoyes the influence of his engagement with photography during this creation process.

Ormancı emphasizes at every opporunity that the most important positive thing that photography gives an individual is, expanding and enriching his/her global understanding.

 

Bekir Ormancı was born in Malatya in 1959, he took  interest in photography as an amateuer.

Ormancı worked especially with black and white photos, for long periods  he also worked with infrared shooting and printing techniques.

 

He succesfully had 5 personal exhibits of his photos.
